Actively managed logistics

One movement, actively managed.

Every job begins with a clear brief. We confirm the collection, delivery, cargo and site requirements before agreeing the transport plan, then keep the relevant contacts updated as the movement progresses.

Choose a service

Four core solutions for urgent and connected freight.

Start with the service closest to your requirement. If the movement spans more than one stage, share the complete brief and the plan can be reviewed as a connected job.

Bonded solutions

A future coordination pathway for customs-controlled movements.

Expedite is exploring how a clearly defined future service could support road transport connected to customs-controlled goods, appointed customs professionals and appropriately authorised facilities.

  • A bonded-movement enquiry route

A future way to capture the cargo, customs status, route, responsible parties and authorised-facility details needed for an initial feasibility review.

  • Clear responsibility mapping

A proposed handover framework showing what the customer, exporter, importer, customs representative, transport coordinator and facility each need to confirm.

  • Operational milestone planning

A prospective method for agreeing collection, customs-process, facility and delivery milestones without implying control over third-party decisions or systems.

  • Facility-connected transport briefing

A future checklist for transport to or from an appropriately authorised facility selected and confirmed for the specific movement.

How every job starts

A practical plan before the wheels turn.

Urgency works best when the route, cargo and handover details are made clear at the beginning.

  • A precise brief

Cargo, access, timing and handling details are checked before the movement is confirmed.

  • A suitable vehicle plan

Vehicle size and equipment requirements are matched to the shipment and the collection and delivery sites.

  • Clear operating updates

Agreed contacts receive useful progress information through to delivery and handover.

Before you book

Useful answers for planning a movement.

Every booking is reviewed individually, but these answers cover the information and decisions most jobs need.

What information do you need to prepare a quote?

Please provide the collection and delivery locations, cargo ready time, latest delivery time, piece count, dimensions, gross weight, packaging and handling requirements. Include site access, booking references and any restricted or sensitive cargo information.

Can you coordinate same-day or urgent transport?

Yes, where a suitable road plan is available. The confirmed quote sets the collection and delivery timing around the full brief, route, vehicle availability, site access and safe operating requirements.

What does dedicated transport mean?

It means the vehicle plan is focused on the booked shipment rather than a standard parcel or groupage network. The exact route, stops and transfer arrangements are confirmed for the individual job.

Can you help with airport cargo collections and deliveries?

Yes. We coordinate road movements to and from nominated airport cargo facilities, using the cargo status, references, security requirements and verified access permissions supplied for the shipment.

Will I receive progress updates?

We agree the useful operating milestones for the job and share progress information with the nominated contacts. The update method and level of detail are confirmed as part of the booking.

Do you own or operate a warehouse?

Our published service is warehouse and distribution coordination rather than an owned facility. The job scope names any agreed third-party storage, cross-docking or handling arrangement alongside the collections and deliveries.

Can you carry dangerous, regulated or restricted goods?

Some specialist cargo may be possible following a shipment-specific review, while other goods may not be accepted. Declare batteries, chemicals, dangerous or controlled goods and provide any relevant classification or safety documents before booking.

Do you provide a customer portal or systems integration?

No portal, API or platform integration is claimed as standard. If your team has a particular reporting, data or communication requirement, include it in the enquiry so a compatible method can be discussed and confirmed where available.

Can you coordinate more than one stage of a movement?

Yes, where the required arrangements are available. The connected plan names each collection, handover, facility responsibility and onward delivery; any storage or handling capacity is recorded separately from the road booking.
